About ABW's CEO

Hello, my name is Jacinda Tolbert; I’m the CEO and founder of Always Be Writing (ABW), located out of Colorado Springs. ABW's mission is to help individuals, organizations, and businesses research funding opportunities, create proposals, and apply for working capital.

 I (Jacinda Tolbert). The CEO and founder of ABW, am a published poet; winner of Ultra Flat Black Lounge Poetry Slam and write fictional bodies of work.

I have a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio; a Grant Writing Certificate from Nonprofit Essentials Certificate Program; a Proofreading Certificate from Universal Class, and I have been working with nonprofits since 2012.

 I have worked as a Grant Writer with nonprofits that maintain a million-dollar budget, and I have worked with small businesses whose budgets are $50,000 or less. I have experience working with individuals who are students to find grants for a multitude of studies. When it comes to researching, writing, and submitting for a funding opportunity, I enjoy helping a variety of causes.
